A free online pomodoro timer, forged in the dark
PomoSouls is a focus and study timer with a souls-like soul: 25 minutes of focus, 5 of rest, tasks to hunt, XP to earn and a Chronicle of every session. It opens in your browser — no account needed.
No sign-up. Works offline. Installs like an app on phone and desktop.
What the timer does
-
Classic pomodoro, your rules
25 minutes of focus, a 5-minute break and a 15-minute long rest after every fourth session by default. Change every duration in Settings, or type a one-off custom length right on the Focus screen.
-
Tasks worth fighting for
Plan the work as tasks with priority, category, due date, subtasks, notes and a pomodoro estimate. Pin one as your active quest and every finished block counts toward it.
-
XP, levels and the Brand
Every finished session earns XP. Levels climb a rank ladder from The Branded to Struggler Eternal; three daily challenges, combo and streak bonuses keep the day sharp.
-
The Chronicle
Your analytics page: focus minutes per hour and per day, sessions kept and abandoned, daily-goal progress, your streak and a twelve-week consistency map.
-
Focus Arena, Ambient view, Ctrl+K
Leave the Home dashboard for the full-bleed Focus Arena, or the Ambient clock — a quiet study-with-me timer for a second screen. On desktop, Ctrl+K opens a command palette; shortcuts cover the rest. Layer real recordings of rain, a fireplace, wind and a cathedral’s hush from the Soundscape.
-
Yours, offline, no strings
Install it from the browser; it works offline and keeps counting in the background. Create a free account only if you want sync across devices. No ads, no tracking cookies. English and Türkçe.
How a session works in PomoSouls
Pick a task — or just press Start. The default block is 25 minutes of focus; set your own length if you need one.
Hold the line. The timer keeps honest time even if you switch tabs or minimize the window, and a browser notification calls you back when the block ends.
Take the break: 5 minutes short, 15 minutes long after every fourth pomodoro. Let breaks auto-start if you prefer no clicks.
Collect the XP, keep the streak and read your day in the Chronicle. Repeat until the task is vanquished.
Seven worlds, one Brand
An aesthetic pomodoro timer should look like somewhere you want to stay. A world changes the palette, the voice, the ranks and the notifications. On the web, Berserk is open to everyone today; the other six are still at the forge — more worlds coming.

Questions from the road
What is the pomodoro technique?
A simple way to work: focus on one thing for 25 minutes, rest for 5, and take a longer break after four rounds. The timer makes starting easy and the break guilt-free. PomoSouls runs that cycle for you, counts every finished round and keeps the record.
Is PomoSouls really free?
Yes. The timer, tasks, XP, the Chronicle, offline use and account sync are free. On the web the Berserk world is open today; the other six worlds are marked coming soon. There are no ads anywhere.
Does it work offline and on my phone?
Yes. Open pomosouls.com once, then install it from the browser (on iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen). It opens in its own window and works without a connection. The timer keeps counting while the tab is in the background, and a browser notification tells you when a block ends.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works in the browser without signing up. Create a free account only when you want your tasks and sessions synced across devices — an e-mail address, a password and one verification link.
What happens to my data?
Without an account, your tasks and sessions stay in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere. With an account they are also stored on PomoSouls so your other devices can sync, and you can download or delete all of it under Account & sync. Visits are counted with cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics. No ads, no tracking cookies.
Can I change the 25/5 durations?
Yes. In Settings you set focus (1–120 min), short break (1–30), long break (5–60), how many pomodoros come before a long break (2–8) and a daily focus goal. On the Focus screen you can also type a one-off custom length for the current block.
Which languages does it speak?
English and Turkish. PomoSouls follows your browser language automatically and you can switch in Settings. Every world's voice is translated, not just the buttons.
