Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of PomoSouls, the web app served at this address, operated by Ömer Faruk Tatar ("we"). By using the app you agree to them; by creating an account you confirm that you have read them. How we handle your data is described in the privacy notice and, in Turkish, in the KVKK aydınlatma metni.

1. The service

PomoSouls is a free focus timer: you run focus and break sessions, keep tasks and categories, and see your history. You can use all of it without an account; the data then stays in your browser. An account is optional and adds one thing — syncing your data between your devices through our server.

2. Who may create an account

You must be at least 16 years old, or have your parent's or guardian's permission, to create an account. Using the app without an account has no age requirement.

3. Your account

• Give an e-mail address you control; we send the verification link and any password-reset link only there. An account whose address is never verified is deleted 7 days after sign-up, or when the last verification link expires if that is later.
• Keep your password secret. Anyone who has it can read and change your synced data; we cannot tell them from you.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account until you sign out of a device or change your password.

4. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service or other people through it. In particular, do not scrape it, attack it, probe it for weaknesses, send it automated traffic, try to get around the request limits or the human check, or use another person's account or address without permission.

5. Your content

Everything you type into PomoSouls — tasks, notes, categories — remains yours. By syncing it you grant us only the licence we need to store it, send it to your other devices and show it back to you. We do not read, analyse or share it beyond that, and we do not use it for anything else.

7. The service as it is

PomoSouls is provided free of charge and as it is. It may change, pause or end. Where we can, we announce changes in the app and give you time to download your data (Account & sync → Download my data) before anything is removed. Because the app also keeps its data in your browser, the copy on your device is not affected by changes to the service.

8. Suspension

If an account is used in a way that breaks section 4, we may suspend or close it. Where the law allows and it is safe to do so, we tell you first and let you download your data.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage arising from the use of the service, its unavailability or the loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in continue to apply, and nothing here takes them away.

11. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we announce the change in the app and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, download your data and stop using the service.
